NEW FIRST TEAM MANAGER APPOINTED
Following a Committee Meeting held last night at which a number of applicants were considered the decision has been taken to appoint current Reserve Team Manager Sam Ainge as 1st Team Manager with immediate effect. Sam now has the task of building both his management team and squad around him to take the Club into next season

NEWFA UNDER 19's WINNERS
Gresford finished the season on a high when goals from player
of the season Mike Pugh and Kevin Hope gave them a two nil
victory over Newi Cefn Druids in the first ever North East

LONG SERVING MANAGER RETIRES
Alan Jones (Sammy) has announced that he is to step down
from his position as 1st Team Manager. Sammy who has seen
many highs and lows during his 20+ year reign at the Club said
that he feels now is the right time for a change and with the
wealth of young talent coming through he has no doubt that
his successor (yet to be appointed) is in a strong position to
take the Club forward. Gresford Athletic wish to thank Sammy
for his loyalty over the years and are pleased that he will
remain involved in an advisory position and Committee Member.
