Garden Village 5 v Gresford colts 0 The Village took the lead as early as the 6minute mark, Ian Jones turning the ball into his own net from a teasing cross from the left. The next goal came from the left flank again and there was some real quality about the goal that showed the difference between the two sides. The home side got their third goal on the stroke of half time with the Gresford youngsters nowhere to be seen! The second half again belonged to the hosts and Gresfords only hope was a long range effort from Danny Bowen that hit the upright and then to safety. It was 4-0 after 63mins and 5-0 after 70mins. Gresford had little to offer this encounter and had limited chances to score against the well organised defence of Garden Village.
