Gresford went into this tie as underdogs, but it was evident from the beginning that they were not going to role over and die! The Gresford back four were immaculate and limited the chances for Cwmbran during the first half. Tired legs began to show, but only from the away team! Gresford began to boss things and on 95mins, Stefan Edwards sent in a teasing cross from the left and the Cwmbran defence failed to clear properly and the ball fell to Jon Taylor on the edge of the box and he volleyed past the diving keeper. Gresford held on to their lead and deservedly go through into the Semi final draw.
