Gresford started the game well and Nathan Pugh had to glorious chances within the first 10minutes to open the scoring, but failed to connect well enough. But he made amends on the 15th minute with an inch perfect free kick from 25yrd out. Gresford had lots of possession in key areas of the game and seemed back to their very best, on 35minutes a ball into George Koumas with his back to goal looked nothing like a goal scoring opportunity, but he proved everyone wrong by turning sharply to score in the bottom of the left hand side of the goal. Half time 2 - 0 The game was all Gresford and soon after the re-start Tom Hughes got his first of the game from the penalty spot after some careful thought by the referee. It took until the 85th minute for the same player to register his second goal of the game, and what a relief for him to score from open play! In the dying moments of the game Stefan Edwards got on the end of a Danny Prescott cross to make it 5 -0 at full time
