As its been most of this season Gresford completely dominated the early part of the game and within the first thirty minutes could of and should of been 3 or 4 goals to the good but again some poor finishing from the lads. But after a great ball into the box from Kev Hope, Josh Page who was starting to come into the game more, got on the end of this cross and guided the ball into the net on 34mins and that's how the score line remained until half time. After some stern words at half time about taking our chances the boys responded quite well and within the space of 10mins Michael Latham took the game further away from Penyffordd with a double strike and the game looked to be dead and buried after just an hour played 3-0. Late on in the game Penyffordd did mange a consolation goal, and restore a little pride
