Gresford Athletic Reserves huffed and puffed their way to a narrow 1-0 win over New Brighton. The games only goal came on 38 minutes, a visiting defender handled on the line and was dismissed and Chris Broadhurst converted the resulting penalty. Gresford were dominant in the opening half with Robbie Jones shaving the right and left uprights and Danny Gray threatening. As so often happens playing against ten men, Gresford stopped playing and were lucky to come away with the points. Richard Ackerley in goal had a very impressive game.
