With the first XI and the Colts flopping at the weekend, the jewel in our crown were the Reserves who booked a safe passage into the second round of the Horace Wynne Cup next week against Penley. They defeated Mynydd Isa and all of the good work was done in the first 45 minutes which they completely dominated. Chris Broadhurst (right)struck twice and Paul Jones bagged his first goal of the season. What was even more pleasing was the return to action of Russ Pritchard and Robbie Jones after lengthy lay offs.
