At home to a much-changed Cefn side with what would appear some time spent investing in the youth.

We started strongly and set about the task well with the lads imposing themselves on the game from the off, taking control of the midfield which was creating a lot of space down both flanks. Both fullbacks and midfield men were exposing this space, which was eventually rewarded form what was the best move of the match. Following some slick interchanges Gaz found himself in space in the last third with time to deliver a superb ball into Broady who out jumped the Goose to steer the ball brilliantly into the far corner.

We continued our dominance for the remainder of the half and the only disappointing thing was that we hadn't really killed the game off.

We started the 2nd period pretty much as we left off defending tightly and getting the ball forward quickly with the majority of the game played in the oppositions last third, again without posing a real threat. After 10 minutes time for the changes with Sutty replacing Chal at the back and Darren taking over in midfield from Richie Carr, as usual keeping the pressure on the away side. Second name on the score sheet was Owen providing further proof of the young talent on display. With the game almost wrapped up, time for the final substitution, with Josh, another 17 year old taking over from Robbie on the right flank.
A great squad performance with all 14 players playing their part.
